Dr Michela Sorensen

Dr Michela is a General Practitioner, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Elme. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Michela provides expert guidance to organisations across the corporate health and media space, bridging clinical best practice with real-world application. Dr Michela has also built a trusted public profile through her work in the media landscape.

Elme was born from both professional and personal experience. Dr Michela saw too often people feeling unsupported within the healthcare system or presenting too late, a pattern reflected in her own family and, at times, her own life as a working mum. After a life-changing diagnosis, she recognised the need for a different model of care. Elme exists to deliver supportive, proactive and genuinely personal healthcare, providing clarity, continuity and advocacy, so no one is left to navigate their health alone
